Its nice restaurant with South Indian dishes. We ordered 1 Biriyani, Wheat porotta and beef ularthiyath. Biriyani and Poratha came first and later about 10 mins they brought the beef curry. Then i asked for an extra porotta which took more than 10 mins. So totall time taken to have a lunch was amost an hour. And when we asked repeatedly, without saying anything the staff smiled in such a way that they are offering free food to us. Pricing and quantity is okay.
It is the better option if you are going statdum or lulu hyper market. Good quality and tasty food
It's really a pathetic place - they served absolutely cold food even after replacing it twice. I had asked for vegeterian meal but they served non-vegeterian meal. The manager was not responsive, not sure if he really understand English......Not recommended et all.
Tried their chicken biriyani. Typical malabar biryani, but it was lacking that flavor of biriyani as well as chicken pieces were small.Biriyani was served with pickle, pappadam, yogurt and payasam.
Nothing more than good food
The fooddy ambience and varieties of dishes
Recommended.Quantity is less compared to price but quality justifies it. Will visit again.
Worst restaurant in duabi. When they serve food cold they call it "special" and charges extra
Today I got a chance to visit calicut notebook restaurant, near to metro station. It was an awesome experience. Hats off to the customer support... thank you...
Went for lunch there. The food was really good. Ordered chicken dum biryani and it was really tasty. And normal rice platter with curries and their ayala polichathu was really good. But found the cost of mutton biryani little expensive as it was more than AED 20. Would recommend the place. The staff and the service was also great inspite of the busy hours of friday where poeple were kept waiting to catch a seat.
I got too bad service the bloody staffs are treating the coustomers like something else. They should be polite to the customers.
Went there for a family get together. Food was okay but is really overpriced. Cost for two AED 100. The toughest part is to find a parking. Consider parking outside lulu and walk to the restaurant.
It is an excellent option for food while visiting Lulu mall in Al-Qusais. Good staff members and tasty food. Surprisingly the bill was below my expectation. It is located near the first floor entrance of Lulu Hyper Market .Highly recommended
their starter salad is the best among everything. Food is Good, slightly pricey, noisy ambiance because it's open. Few of the staff are not so friendly.
The food is good but was shocked to see that on a taken away order they forgot to add the bread included in the order. On calling them they were apologitic however had no option to deliver the bread till midnight.
Good one..keralite fusion food
Podhi biryani and dry chicken fry were very tasty.
Very good food and great service. The food and service deserve high prices but it is street food cheap. Nice setting and seating. We did get 1 piece of undercooked chicken. The plate was promptly changed to a new one with an apology. It's our first visit but won't be our last. Sam, our server, went above and beyond. 5 stars for sure.
Nice restaurant
I had a worst experience there. Person who is taking order thinking that he serves the food with free of cost and the cash counter sitting gentleman also not serving their customer nicely. very poor manners. I never ever recommend my friend to go there.
Bad customer service.
Very good restaurant with different varieties. We enjoyed with blanket fish starter and chicken fry in pandan leaves. They have served with complaint starter of ginger coffee and special Thai leave mix.
Ordered a pepper chicken masala for a dine in for two. Once I received the bill, I realized that the the dish was a full plate and not half plate. After placing an order for soup, starter and the main course, should I go for a full plate curry. Hence train your staff to ask whether a half or full plate is required for the customer so that there are no surprises.
Nice hotel to have food with family.
Food is ok. Once food on the table noone else looks into after that. There is no dedicated staff for specific tables especially in lunch time. Staffs are need to improve a lot for attending customers.Plates and glasses have not cleaned properly. We were unattended for a long time.Very poor service.
Authentic Kerala food
One of the best outlet for keralite food .. should try the lunch as it is worth for money
Very bad service.
Time : 1300 HrsDate : 29 Dec 2017 Day : FridayOrder : 3 Meals + 1 Mutton BiriyaniAmbiance : GoodCleanliness : GoodCost : OkFood Quantity : GoodFood Quality : PoorService : Poor (All staffs approach you with intolerable attitude and does not make you feel thr environment comfortable to sit and eat)
I'm Keralite, so I'm biased, but they've successfully captured the essence of good Malayali cuisine while presenting it in a way
Nice restaurant, bit crowdy at weekend ..
Awesome experience.. Excellent customer service. Mr. Mridhul took good care of us. Food was also excellent. With great passion, he served us. Overall, it was an amazing experience.
Food taste is good. Service was ok. 1 star is less because i don’t know why they were playing old Bollywood songs😂
Good budget foods, they have a very good kerala parota, and chicken tikka(half plate is sufficient for 2), and a must try their chicken curry with coconut milk.
Best Restaurant
Great place for lunch, delicious biryani, good service, great value. Try their chicken biryani. Fluffy flavorful rice with fall off the bone chicken, spiced just right. Served with pickled condiments, papadam and a side of youghurt and payasam. Very well priced, and a very comfortable place to eat in. Highly recommended. #worthit #letsguide #5starvalue
Taste is good but the problem is we are not given pazhasi salad and welcome drink at calicut notebook stadium, Dubai. The starters are given in all other calicut notebook. They think they are providing it for free so they take it for granted and not providing the starters.
Spacious restaurant for Indians, especially malayalis
We ordered meals with Avoli pollichathu. Meals was just normal and Avoli pollichathu was very much small for 30aed.Tried fish fillet and it was juicy and fair enough to satisfy our taste buds. Blanket fish & chicken starter is also good enough. We were given Thai leaf mix as complement.
The worst customer service ever.. the staffs are behaving as if we are their servants.. such dump idiots are being choosed for the position.. idiotic customer service and the worse attitude i have ever seen..
Restaurant
I cant belive it. the south Indian lunch I had it today was worth 25dhs. But they charging only 12 dhs. Including meet + fish curry +prawn + and atleast 5 south Indian veg curries . And pickle + pappad and salads and at last paayasam. Was really delicious. In a peacefully ambience.
Loved the food and the dessert is icing on the cake
Great food
I by mistake had a fish fry here, it taste the worst and the saddest part is that it cost me almost 35Dh which as per the taste I was willing to pay 5Dh
Great Kerala Fusion food restaurant. Green Fire drink, Pandana chicken, Chicken Screwdriver, Fish fillets and Chicken Satay are top class. Coffee and Tea lovers must try out Dancing Coffee and Bollywood Tea!!! 👍
Went here for Iftar get-together with family and friends. Loved the Iftar special snacks, remarkably tasty food and good hospitality. There were complimentary fruits platter with dates and drinks served on each table. All the snacks would be set on table as per our choice. The main course can be ordered prior to Iftar or later. Will definitely go back here!
Delicious food. But its costly.. They charged us wrongly for items not delivered... Their starter salad is variety one compared to other restaurants... We had to wait 15 minutes to get a table & there is also some delay in delivery of food...
I visited this branch thinking of the tasty food which I had before in their first Calicut notebook restaurant which is I think in Deira. But i was disappointed. Though the set up and the staff are good, food was not upto the mark. We ordered for honey glazed chicken fry for starters which was OK. Then we ordered for chicken biriyani and mutton biriyani. The chicken in the biriyani was not good. It was smelling bad so I could not eat it. I tried the mutton and it was ok but nothing special.
